LAPTOP FORUM

Hi,

I bought the above on ebay 3 weeks ago and just received it today ( coz of
postal strike )

When i switch it on, the lcd and power lights come on and i hear the HD
starting to work away but nothing
else happens. No Sound, Blank LCD.

I emailed the seller for advice and he started talking about bios passwords,
even after i told him there is nothing
appearing on screen.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated
