Hi,

Bought a second hand 4030cds in excellent condition - or so I thought!

One day in - screen has become virtually unreadable - like the backlight has
gone or there is a problem with the inverter.

Laptop works fine with a normal monitor - but thats not why I bought a
laptop!

Does anyone have any information about how this can be fixed? Is it a home
job or am I looking at serious wonga!

The machine is great with all original manuals, disks, etc. - I loathed to
just not use it. Bought privately so no comeback at all

Any advice/guidance will be greatly appreciated!
