LAPTOP FORUM

I had some problems with crashes after updating Windows XP on the Microsoft
website. Anyway, I started removing various stuff on the off-chance that it
was causing the computer to crash since Sony installed all kinds of rubbish
on the laptop. I accidentally uninstalled the Sigma Tel Audio driver. I
reinstalled and the volume buttons at the bottom of the keyboard, underneath
the touchpad no longer work!
Ive tried installing everything I can think of from the included rescue
disk, but nothing seems to work. Is there a solution to my problem?
