Acer Aspire 1301XV

The BIOS of my laptop appears to allow booting to floppy, HD, CD or
LAN

Anyone know if it could boot to a USB HD.

Thats as I thought, it was just mentioned my someone quite
knowledgable that it may boot.

Would it be possible in a roundabout way, say boot to floppy to load
some USB drivers then load the OS from the USB HD.
