Awrite peeps?
Im thinking about splashing out on a laptop but cannot decide between two
makes that I know little to nothing about.

Asus with a pentium T2250 dual core thingemyboab or an
Advent with a pentium T5220 dual core thingemyboab.

Im sure I read somewhere that Asus make very good, reliable laptops but I
could be wrong.
Any [sensible] info with the pros and cons on the above would be greatly
appretiated.

Asus. Advent has shitty resale value and tracking down some parts like
replacement batteries can be a pain.
