Howdy
I have a NEC Lavie G laptop.
Japanese Bios, so I cant read what is displayed.

I found all the SIS drivers; Audio/AGP/IDE/Video/Modem/Lan.
Formatted the hard drive and loaded XP Pro SP2.
The sticker on the bottom say Designed for XP with the logo.

Everything works, except no sound!!!

When I put a CD in the player, and I open the volume application, I can
see the meter level deisplay bars going up and down. green yellow and
red when it goes too high. So the system sees the activity.

Any one got suggestons how to activate audio output on this box?
