Tecra 8200 with Intel Pro mini-PCI card installed.

This Mini-PCI wireless card has two antenna connectors but the antenna cable
on the Tecra is too short to reach the aux port. I have to take the Tecra
apart anyway so I will try and ease a little more play out of the cable if
possible but if I cant, are extension cables (only need about an inch!)
available and if so, from where?

Thanks,
Paul DS.

Its not really nessesary to have both connected its just a bit of redundancy
built in if you have lead connected it will work fine

Thanks - Ive found that on antenna does work but my understanding is that
the aux. antenna is designed to allow antenna of two different orientations
to be used thus improving the chances of getting good reception. So if I
can get both connected, I want to thus the extensions? question.

Cheers,
Paul DS.

Update. The instructions for dismantling the Tecra 8100 are available from
the Toshiba website and the 8200 is similar. There is a little play on
the leads that can be eased out by dismantling the Tecra allowing both leads
to them reach the card sockets.
