Hi,
does anyone have all the drivers or the recovery CDs for the Sony =
PCG-V505MP Laptop. The Laptop was loaned to a friend and when I got in =
back (3 months later) the hard drive had been wiped, unfortunately I =
dont have the recovery disks. Ive contacted Sony but they tell me that =
as its not a European model, they cant supply the drivers (the Laptop =
was purchased in the United Emirate) Ive also emailed SONY in AP and =
they can supply the drivers and or recovery CD but only by post all the =
way from Australia. With the Internet I would have thought it would be =
possible to have the images available on a web site - but no luck there.

Ive been able to reinstall Windows and get it connected to the network =
but I cant find the correct drivers for the rest of the hardware like =
audio, video etc etc..

Can anyone help in providing a copy of the Drivers or recovery CD or =
make them available via the web??

I looked at the support I would get from Sony when I wanted a new laptop but
saw that it was non existent.
Also the Vaio was overpriced. I eventually settled for an Inspiron 9300 from
Dell and an IBM Thinkpad.
Both have good support but I find IBM is the best.
