Hi,
I am selling my laptop on eBay with laptop case. I am wondering what
would be a safe way to package the laptop. I do not have the original
box. The laptop just fits right in the case (Inspiron 8200, large), and
I was thinking of placing the laptop with the case into the box with
the packaging material.

Also, what are the recommended shipping agents in the UK?

Not a recommendation, just a fact!

Use Parcelforce. Despite the aggro you hear about them, they are the best
for compensation should the item go astray. I sent a racing bike to Olympia,
Washington State, Pacific US, and it arrived in 4 days by Parcelforce. Also
you can use any Post Office, about Ł10, plus a couple of pounds for
insurance up to Ł500.
