Im looking to buy a laptop for the first time, its main use is for the
internet and downloading to my ipod. I dont want to edit videos, use CAD or
anything like that. I really want a 15 screen for DVD,s tho. Ive been
looking at the Multivision Solus 1010, but what do you recommend, should I
go for a Dell? I dont need it to be portable, but a desktop replacement. I
dont want to spend more than Ł1000

any recommendations would be much appreciated

with such low software requirments even a celeron system may do. As long as
it has a dvd drive and 15 drive youll do fine.
