Hi,

I am looking to hire a laptop for a few days in august.

I have searched on google nd found a couple of sites.

Does anybody have any experience with these companies?

I want a reliable laptop for DVD authoring but dont want to be ripped off.

dvd authoring? using a laptop? You have expensive tastes. PC setup would
be cheaper so i would suggest you have a serious need to be mobile or you
have a severe space problem. You can get an oem dvd writer for Ł150+vat
these days for a pc. Double that if you want a laptop fit.

In Bluewater shopping centre the other day there was a LOreal roadshow -
I happened to notice that they were hiring their laptops from a company
called Elite Rentals Ltd, whose number is 0845 230 1234, and whose email
address was at elite-rentals.com - I was looking for somewhere myself, hence
I noted it down!

I havent actually done anything about this yet, so cant offer a
recommendation, but a large corporate like LOreal is likely not to use
anyone too flaky I wouldnt have thought!
