Remember that Rock give you (well, they did, Im sure its still the case)
a no questions asked, money back deal if you change your mind within seven
days. You just pay the p&p I think. Their 3-year warranty is also worth a
lot, in fact its the reason I stuck with them in the end... well, that
and the fact I couldnt face going through the decision process all over
again.

The Quaddra 64 is a totally different (and newer) chassis to the Quaddra
XT Pro, so hopefully its a much better screen. I think my biggest problem
was that my desktop Iiyama LCD spoiled me; its superb. But all laptops
will suffer to an extent, because even lighting is difficult to manage on
a thinner screen. However for a potential desktop replacement, screen
quality is very important. While its easy to be forgiving if youre stuck
on a train or in a hotel room, its a different matter when using a laptop
as your main machine.


The general consensus always seems to be that Tiny/Time are for folk who
know no better :-) Im sure thats unfair though, and theres a lot to be
said for having a local point of contact.
