It might be a sample given to them by Dell to evaluate its certainly
nothing to do with Dell themselves

This seller places Dell comps on eBay regularly, in fact one lot he had a
picture of Dell comp boxes stacked up.

I recall asking about an M60 he had up for auction at one time but I got no
reply so did not progress it but bought direct from Dell..............be

I must admit im not keen on taking any risk. When things seem to good to
be true they usually are.
Unlikely toshiba, hp etc dell can only come from Dell so theorectically i
should be able to find it on dells site.

People do keep telling me there are some good dell offers but i find there
website difficult to understand and they seem quite expensive to me.

A friend at work suggested the outlet site: http://outlet.dell.com Not
sure what the difference is or why theres a normal site and an outlet site
but maybe prices are better there.

Ill check out dells usa site see if its listed their cheaper. maybe he
buys from the usa and then sells here

You have to be careful with the options selection page. One thing to
look out for is that the machines are usually listed with the three year
on site warranty selected. If you de-select this option and go for the
standard one year warranty then it can drop the price by up to Ł200.

They sell warranty returns, cancelled orders and suchlike there. Ive
bought a laptop from there and it was indistinguishable from new. You
used to be able to pick up a real bargain from the UK Outlet shop but
these days the stuff doesnt seem any cheaper than their new stuff.
