How do I get into the BIOS on this Laptop?
I want to be able to boot from CD.

Take a look at the following page for details on accessing toshiba BIOS
settings:

Hi,

To enter the bios hold down the ESC key, after selections have been made
press the END key.

To update the bios hold down the F12 key and turn the laptop on.

To update the EC/KBC hold down the tab key and turn the laptop on.

Do you know what the max memory this can take, and perhaps (cheekily)
where I can get same.

160MB Max! The laptop takes EDO memory. Might be worth looking on Ebay! Or
the company I work for should be
able to source the memory for you as follows:
