hmmm. though not for a Laptop I thought Id check these guys out for Li
battery for my Coolpix 5700.......wow Ł30.55 for a clone. These can be
purchased on ebay for Ł25.

I was thinking that. genuine stuff aint gonna cost much more mind you the
shipping was included and batteries tend to be heavy

Whereas the replacement battery for my Advent was Ł50 cheaper than
anywhere else and I got an hours extra use out of a charge from the
original when it was new.

Cant be that bad then - in fact I may have read a Euro price instead of a
pound one! Still not happy about the lower current power supplies than
specified as that may be a safety issue but Ill back down a little on price
;-)
